Supercircuits has introduced a line of covert video gear which utilizes Sony's Super HAD chipset. Sony's Hole-Accumulation Diode (HAD) chipset uses special microscopic lenses directly on the CCD and includes the near infrared spectrum in its basic architecture. The result is a camera that efficiently gathers light and can virtually see in the dark; the low light rating is 0.0003 lux. Supercircuits has integrated this technology into a wide array of useful concealments loudspeakers, smoke detectors, wall clocks, pencil sharpeners, ceiling speakers, utility boxes, wall phones, plants and more.
